Ch13 begins on 10/30!*** Gonna take an extra week for formatting volume 3 for print! Keep an eye out on the FB page for more info as it becomes available!

***I thought I could get Ch13 started for 10/23, but then I got so freakin busy for the last like...4 days...I haven't gotten much of anything done. So I'm gonna take an extra week to finish up what I need to so Ch13 doesn't start with a whimper.

10/30 EDIT: I totally forgot to update last night because I don't have much to post XD The first page has like 20 people on it and they're taking a long time to render. But once it's done, I'll post it, so teeeeechnically it'll still be an on-time update. Just...not as immediately on October 30th as I intended.

The only thing that tops that shot in the back is when Theo stabbed Danny in the Carmilla Series.

@MistressMorbid: Reg is one of the primary antagonists in book 1 XD You'll be stuck with him for a while.

@Rip the Hunter:

>: I CAN DREAM

B< He's so gonna get it though. YOUR ASS IS GRASS REG. Someday. Somehow. I will say though... xD Reg doesn't kid around

Reply Rip the Hunter, October 22nd, 2015, 4:36 pm

@MistressMorbid: XDDD Maybe one day. And no, Reg follows the philosophy, "If it's worth doing once, it's worth doing right the first time."

This is a good comic! I read it all in one sitting. I hate the brown skin dude... And a huge cliffhanger...

I also liked you Bleach comic (couldn't comment on that, so I'll leave it here).

I have never watched, read, or played Bleach, so some of the things were confusing, like what is a Shimangi? (I spelt that so wrong...) But even though I never seen Bleach, your story was pretty easy to follow. Too bad you stop. I love Ulqulorria and Orhimine (God... I can't spell their names right...) and your drawing style. Well... got to wait for the next update for this.

@Darklassio: Thanks a bunch! Means a lot to me that the story is catchy enough that people can marathon it!

And yeah, Reg's a bastard XD He's a hero in his own mind.

As for the Bleach thing...eeehhhh... I wish I had nice things to say about it, but these days my skin crawls when I'm reminded that I wasted 3 years of my life on that comic. I can only tell myself that I needed the practice because Eidolon looks so much better as a result.

Reply Darklassio (Guest), October 28th, 2015, 5:47 pm

@Rip the Hunter: Heh... sorry for bringing it up...

But still... I liked it and that is what really matters... right?

Reply Rip the Hunter, October 28th, 2015, 7:10 pm

@Darklassio: Can't be sure even on that anymore. The guy who directed the latest Fantastic Four movie said it was so horrible, he wouldn't ask anyone to watch it. Sometimes authors really are ashamed of their work and would rather it simply vanish. I catch a lot of flack for my art style looking too much like Bleach, even though I don't try...I feel like spending 3 years on the Redux has left a taint that will take a long time to work out.

@Rip the Hunter: ...

Okay... gonna drop the Bleach thing now...

Anyway, I hope they make it out alive! And hopefully sane, at least on Gabriel's part. I got a feeling that using his gift too much might have some lasting effect on his brain or something.

Maybe that is just me...

Reply Rip the Hunter, October 28th, 2015, 9:54 pm

@Darklassio: Sorry XD;;; It's a touchy subject for me. I've turned down $200 commissions because they were Bleach-based and I just can't anymore. It's like a really bad breakup.

As for Gabe...welp, I won't say what his ability is just yet, but I can safely say that no one's Affliction has a negative effect on them directly. If they use it poorly, sure...even Prince Iresha burned himself. But simply having the Affliction "on" won't hurt or drain them. I can't wait to show more of what Gabe's Affliction can do :3

Reply Darklassio (Guest), October 29th, 2015, 7:33 pm

@Rip the Hunter: I only thought that because Gabe's power are more psychic-like while Iresha's was more pyromancer-like (Fire magic, in case you didn't know what that meant). Psychic is, I think, more connected to the brain than pyromancer, which I think is more connected to hurtful emotions, like rage. That is just my thinking though.

Reply Rip the Hunter, October 29th, 2015, 9:07 pm

@Darklassio: Aye, I feel ya. A lot of the stories I've read or watched have gone with that trope. But...I kinda like doing things a little different to keep it all fresh. I would be bored with the 'oh he can't use his powers for too long because it'll be tiring' plot device. It inevitably leads to the 'too tired to fight....but finds the strength at the last second for the most powerful attack ever' plot maneuver. Stuff like that is the bread and butter stories aimed at teens or kids. I'm trying to aim Eidolon towards the 17+ audience, which has slightly higher expectations and isn't so easily impressed.

I can safely say, without spoiler tags, that the Affliction in Eidolon doesn't cause personal injury or fatigue in and of itself. So no worries about anyone getting overwhelmed! It'll come with its own dangers that'll be shown as the story progresses :3
